Yeah, I believe that it belongs to nationally syndicated radio show host Tom Martino (a consumer rights guy out of Denver).  I believe he has a Lyc 540 in a standard Velo (which is usually flown with a Lyc 360)

Yes; that is Tom’s plane.  It is a Velocity 173 (long wing), for which I think a 540 is appropriate.  

It is a wild paint job, but personally I have a bit of a psychological problem with flames on an airplane.  Motorcycle – OK; Race car – maybe OK; airplane – I don’t think so (although I have a grandson who thought flames on my engine cowl would be really cool.)
