Ed
Thanks, Ed. Although I’d love to
be able to fly it to Sun & Fun; it won’t be ready for an across the country
flight that soon. Right now other things will take my time, so it won’t
get to the airport for about a month. Then there are the various
checkouts and FAA inspection; and we never know how long it takes to fly off 40
hours on an experimental. And you’re right about the cost. The cost
of the paint seems to go up by about 50% a year. I have about $1500 into
paint and supplies for the job; double what I had estimated.
Al; That really looks great. Is that $90.00 an
hour for 100 hrs, or $100.00 an hour for 90 hours? JohnD
Yeah; I’d take either one of
those. Even starting from the point of being in ‘final’
primer, my log shows a bit more than 200 hours to get the job done.
Have followed your progress for several years and look forward to
hearing that you are in the air !!

That’s the final ‘proof of
the pudding’ isn’t it. I’m sure looking forward to
getting this thing in the air too.
