I'm
pretty sure I got it stopped by killing the fuel pump also, but I
was
madly turning off every switch I could get my hands on. Probably
the
quickest would have been to pop the circuit breaker on the EC2 but
that
would have required too much thinking time.
Turning off the EC2
doesn’t necessarily stop the engine. At least on the earlier
versions there is a sneak circuit which powers the EC2 if the injector power is
on.
I guess pulling the
throttle back wasn’t the first thing to come to mind?:)
Congrats on getting the
engine running. That’s an exciting milestone – on of the
biggest next to first flight. Now it will take some patience to get
everything tuned and calibrated. Best of luck going forward.
