Rusty; Here if you have to call sbc and
they tell you that they are switching you to a tecky, tell them you need to talk
to someone who can speak English. Tell them your hearing is not
good. I had to do this after 4 different persons in India hung up on
me. Finally the operator said she could connect me to someone speaking
English and switched me to a point in Texas were the tecky (speaking
English) got every thing sorted out for me on the high speed inter net and it
all works fine now. JohnD

I tend to try to use the online chat support,
since it's easier to understand. Unfortunately, it doesn't get
any better answers.
I just haven't decided whether to pursue this any
farther. I've looked through messages from other Bellsouth, and non
Bellsouth people and I'm not the only one this is happening to, though it
might be worse with me than some of the others. Some folks on
Bellsouth aren't having any problems at
all.
The path of least resistance might be to try the gmail
account for the flyrotary list, which is the ONLY thing I have a problem
with. Otherwise, Bellsouth has been just outstanding. Fast,
reliable, etc, except when dealing with the lancaironline server. I
just wish I knew enough about how this all worked to figure out where the
problem really is.
