No putting them in with the 1/2 drive breaker bar and 2 foot piece of pipe! That said any non ham-fisted person can use them. If you regularly strip 1/2-13 bolts then use a torque wrench! I'm gonna order the -3D fittings throughout ('cause my head hurts trying to keep all the permutations of different sizes correct 8*). I was worried about the strength because I've had some -3 bolts break on me when trying to put nylock nuts on. For the fuel lines, I'm going with the -6D (3/8) from tank to firewall. -- ,|"|"|, | ----===<{{(oQo)}}>===---- Dyke Delta | o| d |o www.ernest.isa-geek.org | -- Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ Archive and UnSub: http://mail.lancaironline.net/lists/flyrotary/ ----------MailBlocks_8C7C8D787DFAE9C_1044_28F31_FWM-M14.sysops.aol.com Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii"
Ernest,
Common sense is required when using the -3 fittings. No putting them in with the 1/2 drive breaker bar and 2 foot piece of pipe! That said any non ham-fisted person can use them. If you regularly strip 1/2-13 bolts then use a torque wrench!

Thanks, Bill.
