I shouldn't mislead anybody, about how easy it was. It took alot of
planning, cutting, filing, die grinding as well as a little TIG welding and
a few drill & taps. Took till 1am. I've considered buying a small milling
machine to make items like this easier. Hmmmnnn.. now if only I could sell a
few of these, I could justify buying a mill.......

I've looked at the Meziere unit as well, but it was a long time ago. If I
recall correctly, it was substantially heavier than the EWP. Also alot more
$$$$. I believe it was designed more for drag racing than for continuous
use, which is why they don't offer a controller. I seen a pic of their
adapter plate but it is still somewhat restrictive do to I believe it was 1
AN-16 outlet & 2 AN-10 inlets. It also has no provision for a RTD temp
probe.

I see no reason why not. Any DC motor should provide variable flow with
current control. As long as you can provide a location for a temp sensor.

I believe the majority of North American use has been in drag racing. The
Meziere unit is also quite expensive, so the average street user is not
going to spend the $$$ without some assurance of payback, which in a car
where weight is less critical, would not be so great. I think you'd have to
look down under to find many user reports. And speaking from personal
experience, I know it is HOT down there. Every car has A/C. So it would be a
good location to test one.
