Yes, I could see the 13b designation on the engine of the RX8 I test drove.
Looks like what is on the older engines. At least I think it did. I was so
impressed with the engines smoothness I became distracted. <g>

   Just out of curiosity (I won't be able to afford the ~$6K USD anytime
soon):

The earlier rotary engines from Mazda have cast into one of the housings the
type, e.g. "13B".  Does the Renesis engine have such a designation?
