The other posible reason for the big
difference in apparent flow rate is injector response time. When
running at low manifold pressure, a small difference can make a big
difference. Most injectors take about 1 millisecond to open. At
idle, the injector on time is only about 1.4 ms. A difference of only
.1 ms would look like a 25% difference in flow rate even if the
injectors were perfectly matched at 100% duty cycle.
Another reason to use same brand of injectors in
all the holes!

Good point (dang it). I was thinking of how I could
get the Mazda injectors in the TWM throttle body. I looked at them
before and noticed that there's a big difference in the diameter of
the ends, so I just dismissed the idea. Now I'm wondering if
there's a chance they will work with an adapter, perhaps even the standard
sleeve that Mazda uses on the primaries. I don't suppose all injector
holes are a standard size? That would be too easy. Of
course, now I have to wait until about the end of next week to get my
injectors back to do some
measuring.
Cheers,
Rusty
