.... or you could just keep on sailing to....Panama!
Even when you guys shut down for Hurricanes we still have perfect weather! Hell, when you have hurricanes we have the BEST weather ever!

A Canadian fellow just retired to down here!
He built a hangar/home about 40 miles outside Panama City (....the Central American one!) on a small strip.
He also brought his Glassair III, and if all goes well he will receive the first kits for his Nemesis NXT in Feb.'06!!!
So far I failed to convince him on a Turbo-3-Rotor (or 4-rotor!) - he is dead set on a Lyc720, low compression, turbo!
Anyone kows off a cheap, but good core?

Sorry to hear the tale of woe.  I didn't realize it was quite that bad.  Since I sold the RV-3, the weather here has been absolutely perfect.
Today I was using a Hilti gun to fasten 2x6 plates to the steel framework and it was raining so hard that my shot got wet and began to mis-fire... AAAAAARRRRRGGHHH, I HATE RAIN!   But then I remembered that you guy's are bracing for Wilma and I didn't feel so bad. Then I had a couple Rum & Cokes and I felt not so bad at all :-)

Todd    (waiting for freeze-up)

You better do something about it Todd. I lived in Toronto for 10 years and had enough. Sold absolutely everything that will not fit inside my sailboat and sailed to FL.... 15 years ago. Never looked back or wanted to go back. All I have to put up is with occasional hurricane or 4 or 5 each year, but the weather is perfect for our hobby. Now I have to run and secure the hangar for hurricane Wilma.
