My current plan is to mount the two 9.5" x 13" evaporators between the second and third
ribs inboard from each side of the center section with inlets on the leading edge and oulets
on top of the airfoil from 50 to 70 % of chord from leading edge........All subject to change

So, entrance duct would sit beside the step on the left and beside the pitot on the right. Have you considered dropping the lip of the left duct and building it up strong enough to be the step? Will the proximity of the right opening interfere with the pitot and throw off your airspeed and/or altitude readings? Possibly eliminate that possibility with a tail mounted pitot like Tom Bauer's? Will your exit duct start just aft of Station 4, with the bottom curving up just above the raised main wheels? I'd be very interested in seeing how you route the duct through the baggage compartment. The convoluted ducting that I kept coming up with was the biggest factor in pushing me to look at other solutions.
