Ernest,
On the Pegasus Racing site they recommend using the Oetiker clamp I'm
assuming their product "Textile Reinforced High Temperature Hose" is the
same type hose you're talking about.

In their product description, it says, "To secure this hose to a barbed
fitting, we recommend Oetiker clamps (part #3295-Size). These maintain
proper tension after many heating and cooling cycles, which standard
hose clamps cannot."  Of course Lynn may have a racer's secret that
would work better.

That is the right stuff. (Aeroquip) I have not seen clamps used with it, but if there is still some fear to overcome, a clamp between the last barb and the swivel fitting would seem OK.

I use it without clamps between the external oil pump and the filter stand. The pump is a Moroso gerotor pump that has very high pressure spikes and is adjusted to give 100 PSI at the block, after the filters and one of the coolers. I never checked to see what the pressure is at the pump outlet, but well above 100 PSI to be sure. Never  problem. Aeroquip stuff works as advertised.
