(Aeroquip) I have not seen clamps used with it, but if there is still some fear to overcome, a clamp between the last barb and the swivel fitting would seem OK. I use it without clamps between the external oil pump and the filter stand. The pump is a Moroso gerotor pump that has very high pressure spikes and is adjusted to give 100 PSI at the block, after the filters and one of the coolers. I never checked to see what the pressure is at the pump outlet, but well above 100 PSI to be sure. Never problem. Aeroquip stuff works as advertised. Lynn E.
