In their product description, it says, "To secure this hose to a barbed fitting, we recommend Oetiker clamps (part #3295-Size). These maintain proper tension after many heating and cooling cycles, which standard hose clamps cannot." Of course Lynn may have a racer's secret that would work better. =20 See http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/ProductSelection.asp?Product=3D3295 Mark S. -----Original Message----- From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Ernest Christley Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 2:40 PM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Aeroquip AQP Socketless racing hose question Lehanover@aol.com wrote: > If you are talking about the blue stuff, it is all I use. Hanover=20 Lynn, do you think this would be compatible with the heat shrinkable=20 hose clamps that Tracy has been sporting, or would the two defeat one=20 another? If it works on the 'chinese finger lock' principle, I'm=20 thinking that the wide band might keep the hose from stretching enough=20 to lock down. --=20 ,|"|"|, | ----=3D=3D=3D<{{(oQo)}}>=3D=3D=3D---- Dyke Delta | o| d |o www.ernest.isa-geek.org | -- Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ Archive and UnSub: http://mail.lancaironline.net/lists/flyrotary/
