It is Kevlar reinforced. If you must, just a 1/4" hose clamp close the the fitting. I use dash 12 for oil pressureized lines and one dash 10 for a breather hose.
It is also the lightest system available. You can twist an end fitting after assembly to improve an installation, and it won't leak. You cannot remove an end fitting without cutting the hose off. The fittings are 100% reusable.

Lynn, do you think this would be compatible with the heat shrinkable hose clamps that Tracy has been sporting, or would the two defeat one another? If it works on the 'chinese finger lock' principle, I'm thinking that the wide band might keep the hose from stretching enough to lock down.
