Hi John
Ok, It's simply a piece of redi-rod (threaded rod) bent to the
appropriate shape. I drilled a mounting hole in the stiffener web of the
RD-1 and I can't remember if the IVO brush block already had an
appropriate hole in it or if I had to drill one or just enlarge an
existing hole. Both ends of the rod are double nutted to allow for fine
position adjustment. After 50 hours of flying I had to change my brushes
and the mount hadn't moved the brush position at all.
It works well, durable, cheap, light and & easy. Always a winning
combination
