The James rotary cowl, his lycoming cowl or the standard Vans cowl. It appears I'll have to make the engine mount myself since Conversion Concepts seem to be taking money without delivery so I can make it to suite any of the above. There is a lack of RV8s locally so I can't easily see the genuine Vans cowl and I've only seen magazine pics of the James rotary cowl. So I ask you which would be the better for a rotary installation. George, as a matter of interest is the starter on your bell housing on the side or underneath and does it fit the RX8 motor?
