I had an injector that would stick open (didn't know for certain that was the problem at the time) while I was flying and cause the EGT on that rotor to decrease 300F.  It was intermittent

Thanks Ed.  That makes me feel better about tearing my engine apart tomorrow to change these.  Hopefully, I can get to them without taking too much stuff out, but I have my doubts.  In fact, I just threw all my good metric wrenches and sockets in the RX-7 because I'm afraid I'll need more than the crappy tools at the hanger.   
 
I thought about cutting into the wires for the injectors, and swapping them around enough to figure out which injector was actually the problem.  I finally decided that it didn't matter, since I was going to install new ones anyway.  I can't recall if I mentioned it before, but the new injectors were (only) $166 each at Mazdaformance, so it wasn't as painful as I imagined.
