Interesting. I'm wondering if my "cowl flap" arrangement will help with
this. I left the "boat tail" of my cowl open and designed a flap which, when
opened, lets air pass straight through without going through the rad. The
THEORY is that this will let me "dump" some of the pressure at high speeds
and defeat the "air dam" problem while still maintaining enough air flow and
pressure for adequate cooling. I have a cooling fan for ground cooling. Any
thoughts whether this will work???
