I bought 25 of
these counters from Digi-Key and have a little extra board so I can make up a
few more of them, so if anybody else is using the LS1 coils and needs to use a
regular tach (Rusty?), let me know and you can have one for the price of a beer
if we ever meet in person (if it's American beer, you'd better make it 2 beers
:-).

working. I hope I won't have to take you up on your offer, though the
price seems right. The meatheads at VDO tell me that my tach can't
work with coil pulses, even though the instructions say it can, so it's
destined to be a 100 yard target for my AR-15. Perhaps I'll send it
back to VDO afterwards :-)
I hope to get a lot done
today, and tomorrow. The plan is to be completely finished, with the
exception of the final inspection (shooting for the 16th), and successful
tuning/testing of the engine. I should be able to run the engine
again tomorrow, but only for the purpose of checking the tiny tach. I'll
hope that Tracy can send the new firmware for the EC-2 by next weekend, so I can
get serious about tuning and
testing.
