On the next run of the engine, with autotune off, it seems smoother and the
idle is fine at about 1100. It's consistent through the rpm range, and I'm
getting a slightly higher static than I used to get. One strange thing - I
notice a pink powder on the outside of the exhaust that accumulates over
time. Anyone seen this?

I have seen this with 100LL. It depends on the additives they use. I was running Texaco at the time.
