Hi Todd,
In addition to the elegant simplicity of the rotary, the esthetic value of
hanging a really cool looking power sport style cowling on the front of your
RV should not be underestimated :-)
Cheers -- Ian

Hi Al;
I've been a silent lurker on your GlassCockpit list for a few years and
am
happy to see you on this list even if temporarily to discuss this current
topic.
As I'm currently off at tech school I'm temporarily unable to keep up
with
all on this list and usually avoid commenting unless I'm up to date to avoid
bringing up issues already covered. I'm several hundred messages behind, but
I'd just like to make a quick comment.
Many of us here simply just "like" the rotary engine and it's elegant
simplicity. That implies an emotional attachment that you can't number
crunch,
which explains some of the disgruntled responses to your original cross
posted
e-mail. It was like you was talkin 'bout our momma :-)
Your posts here may dissuade a few who are looking for a better
alternative,
but don't really possess the experimental spirit, which is probably a good
thing lest they become another grim statistic. However a large majority of
us
will not acquiesce to any pressure (nor do I think you want us to) to give
up
on our beloved engine, but most of us are more than happy to listen to your
opinions and ideas. Even if we disagree, we still consider all ideas when
trying to make the most informed decision.
Welcome to the list and I hope you stick around for awhile.
