Georges,
I have a later model 12A and it has the 2 port pump - ideal for a single rotor engine - I had been wanting to mention that point!
George ( down under)
IMO using the EC-2 with complete separation of power & ground feed on the EM-2, the LS1 coils, redundant CAS, power Bus &alternator/batteries will give you backup on fuel & ignition systems.
Georges B.
PS. does anyone know if the late model 12a (single dizzy cover) has a 4 port oil injection pump?

If you want true redundancy, you must double up on the systems that have a possibility of killing you engine (and you,no matter how remote)

I like to see some expertise put into adding backup ignition & fuel delivery systems. Could a carburetor with its own fuel feed double as a throttle body, and could a magneto be used to run the ignition?
John
