I have a later model 12A and it has the 2 port pump = - ideal=20 for a single rotor engine - I had been wanting to mention that=20 point!

IMO using the EC-2 with complete separation of power = &=20 ground feed on the EM-2, the LS1 coils, redundant CAS, power Bus = &alternator/batteries will give you backup on fuel & = ignition=20 systems.
