This idea to machine trailing plug holes bigger to get more out of the
trailing spark is like buy a bigger wing so you can fly faster.
I think that post had a comment about removing the rib on the outside of the housing so that a conventional style spark plug can be used. There was no intent to enlarge the hole into the chamber. Thank you for pointing that out.
