Is the 4 port from the automatic and the 6 port from the 6 speed manual?
Jeff

The 6 port is rated at 247 HP, 159 ft-lb peak torque, 9000 RPM max. The 4 port is rated 207 HP, 164 ft-lb peak torque, 7500 RPM max.

The automatic transmission won't stand for the 9000 RPM, so the six port is only available with a manual transmission.

Yep, that was a big factor in why I chose the 4 port "low power" engine.  Much simpler manifold requirements.

Six runners will, indeed, be a challenge.

Did your RX-8 counterweight look any different from and RX-7 counterweight? How can I tell the difference? I bought a counterweight, and I want to know some way to make sure it is the correct one for my engine.

What does the RX-7 counterweight weigh?

        Thanks in advance,
