True.  I did have one occasion where that lousy tank slosh stuff clogged the first filter (gascolator screen).  Fuel pressure fluctuation was the indication.  My 'Plan B' was to turn on the backup pump which stabilized the pressure.  It did this by collapsing the filter screen in the gascolator with suction.  The EFI filter caught the junk that bypassed the gascolator screen.

Of course, *any* tank switching/transfer method has it's downsides.
Tracy's method (which I think is fine, overall) has the downside of no
plan B if there's a problem with blockage, contamination etc with the
primary supply tank.
