Hi Ken;
   Can you give some details on your external oil pressure regulator? Make,
model?

The reason I ask is that I have my oil outlet at the bottom of the end housing
and have just put a plug in the outlet on the front cover. So the only reason
for oil to go into the front cover is for the oil pressure regulator. If I
used an external regulator I could get rid of that pesky oil O-ring and just
tap that outlet for a plug instead.
