Dave, I posted details of my fuel solenoid to this list this morning. This would work for oil too. It's made by Vickers, and you could probably get one for your "off road vehicle" from the local hydraulics shop.

Thank's John,  Thats quite a bit bigger and heavier than the one I ended up ordering, but mine did cost a little more:  $110.
