There is an after market kit available which includes  mounting plate & cover for the unit. the ratio ranges from 19:1 to 5:1.The drive clutch is mounted on a 3/4" shaft> the shipping weight is 13lbs, the last price I have is under $500.00 CDN . I have used some of this companies' products & found them to be of good quality. My catalogue is dated so I'd have to check on current price & availability.

Hi Georges,

That does sound interesting, but I don't understand the ratio ranges.  Do you mean that the set of pulley's varies from 19:1 to 5:1, or do you mean that you can get a set of pulleys with a maximum ratio between 19:1 and 5:1?  Even 5:1 is pretty far out there.  3:1 would be about right though.

Also, what HP were these intended to work with?  If the secondary pulley (attached to a prop) only had a 3/4" shaft, I'd figure that wouldn't last long.

Does this place have a web site?

Thanks,

Rusty (off to trade the Sonerai for cash)
