That does sound interesting, but I = don't=20 understand the ratio ranges.  Do you mean that the set of pulley's = varies=20 from 19:1 to 5:1, or do you mean that you can get a set of pulleys with = a=20 maximum ratio between 19:1 and 5:1?  Even 5:1 is pretty far out=20 there.  3:1 would be about right though.
