That's what I was afraid of but I didn't know what was to high.

Ken; I have seen bearing failure from to much oil press, separation of base
and surface metal. First I would try a new filter from a different source
and if that isn't the cause, would check the relief spring. JohnD

Anyone out there have an opinion if 125 psi is to high for the oil
pressure ???
I just installed a new engine and all my other ones ran at about 80
to 90 psi and this one is 125, I don't know why as all the plumbing
is the same.
