I spent quite a long time trying to mount my LS1 coils, and currently have a crapy system that will have to be replaced before flight. I have some sheet metal brackets that I think are going to vibrate like crazy, if they don't fall off first. They are mounted on the top of the engine where a lot of installations have the intake manifold tubes. I also have the GM cable connecting the 4 coils to a 7 wire (I think) connector. There is room for improvement there, but I do like the auto connectors which are sealed up pretty good when mated. Another item I'm thinking about is a module with the coil and injector disable switches and with provisions for the resistors for the peak and hold injectors. Tracy specs a 10 amp switch for the injector disable circuit. As far as I can tell, the only toggle switches rated for 10 A DC are the full size toggles. Bob W.
