To get around this sticking solonoid I will try
this. Put the starter current through another generic automotive starter
solonoid. Put the output of this solonoid to the output side of the
existing Mazda solonoid. Activate both when starting. This way the Mazda
solonoid just pulls in the gear while the auto solonoid provides current. The
auto solonoid appears to draw much less current than the Mazda so this may not
add a significant.
additional drain on starting.
