Neat looking aircraft, Peter.  Quite is not bad either when you have neighbors {:>).  Looks like lot of fun... now, lets see.  A single rotor with aluminum side housings turning 7500 rpm.....

I've ordered an instrument that may be of interest to some of you. It is a marine Floscan 3" digital device which includes readout of tach, hour meter and fuel flow. One user reports very accurate fuel flow from an inline transducer. (One link is: http://www.brokenlegdave.com/Manufacture/FloScan/7000.htm
And, OK, I'll admit  something if you promise not to boot me off the list. It is going into a plane that I'm having a blast with this summer. We recently moved to waterfront property and I couldn't stand not having a float plane out front so with the help of low interest rates there is now this snappy little performer at the dock. One comment that none of us with Mazda's will ever get is that it is extremely quiet. At least six neighbors have said this to me. I'm even starting to like the Rotax 582 that powers it. Best off the water performance I've ever had.
Peter
