I moved mine to the airport Saturday, minus the wing = installation and showing off :-) Don't believe anyone who says it isn't a thrill. =20 Is there anybody on this list that is using the EC2 and getting an accurate signal to drive an inexpensive, off the shelf tach? Now that the EM-2 is farther off, I'm pretty happy I = got those nice "temporary" gauges. About the only thing I need to do is get = the *&!!#@ tach working. I was going to try to use my Fluke 87 meter, but I don't think that will pass inspection :-) =20 =20 Todd, are you using LS-1 coils? If so, that may be our problem. I know Tracy has Mazda coils, as does Tommy. From Ed's response, it sounds = like he has them as well. Is anyone actually running with GM coils who has a functional tach? You'd think the trigger signal would be the same, but there has to be a reason this doesn't work. Don't make me have to put a scope on it :-) =20 =20 I called VDO about my tach, and they said it wouldn't work with the = ignition coil hookup. I pointed out that their advertising and instructions said that it would. His response was that I could waste time trying if I = wanted to, but that it wouldn't work.
