1. Have you been running the engine without a prop?  If not, I don't think you will get dependable readings or adjustments.

The 3 blade Warp Drive prop is installed and set at 18 degrees pitch.

3.  Tracy's specs for timing (with the static timing set of 35*BTC) are:  1500-2499= 10.625*BTC, 2500-3599=18.5*BTC, and >3600= 21.875BTC.  Also, low MAP(<22")  will advance 5.625* when above 3600r.  If it were me, I'd reset the static set up and check timing at 3500-4000.

This is good info, thanks.  Something doesn’t add up, since I started with a static of 35 BTDC, and had 0 TDC at about 2500 rpm.  Now, I have about 19 BTDC at 2500, so that could be right where it needs to be.  Unless Tracy suggests otherwise, I’ll probably do as you suggest, and set it back to the static setting, and wait until I’m able to run it up to 4000 as stated in the instructions.  It would be safer to have the timing retarded, than over-advanced.  Detonation is not good for apex seals.

If Tracy confirms the low power cut-off with the primary injector switch, I’ll be at the airport by Saturday :-)
