I finally got around to adding a serial port to my engine monitor and
just finished writing a little VB program for my iPaq PocketPC that
captures the serial port input and writes it to a text file.

Very interesting Finn.  Thanks for sharing. Hmmm, the picture of Tracy's
EM-2 shows 4 plugs on the front.  I wonder if one of those will be data out.
Ooops, now it'll be due in October :-)

Since I'll only be monitoring the oil temp in the pan, it was interesting to
see the oil temp diff between the pan, and the oil cooler exit.
