That said, I might use some to shield stuff close to the exhaust.. I'll not use SS since the regular braided oil/fuel lines are more than adequate structurally. I've asked a couple of old grizzled A&Ps and the pretty much agreed that neither one has ever known one to fail. To me, it's pretty much a non-issue ... Jim S.
