I went to Advance Auto here in Cedar Park, TX to get Ultra Grey
Plus for
engine to motor mount/pan seal. All they had was Permatex
brand - Ultra
Grey - Sensor Safe RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. Is the the
correct
material for the mating surfaces or do I keep trying?
Everyone has their
favorites, and that's probably as good as any. I'm just a bit
superstitious now that I used the Master brand stuff that came in Bruce's
overhaul kit. I have picked up a nagging drip from somewhere, but it ain't
the oil pan.
