I await your findings with much interest.  I posted some references just a couple of weeks ago (magazine articles) that stated the RX8 rotors are 10% (or was it 11%???) lighter than the 9.7 rotors; this would make the weight 8.2 lbs.  We'll see!!!

I would appreciate that.  From some reports it sounds like they and the 9.7:1 may weigh the same in which case I already have the right counterweights.  I'm not going anywhere, so take your time {:>)

I have my Renesis apart and will weigh the rotors on a postage scale early next week. I am out of town until then. They have been ceramic coated but that should not add much weight.
