Guys=0D I've only been on this forum for a short time, but I'm really impressed w= ith the group's genuine interest & concern regarding Ed's engine problem. Compared to some other forums that I have visited this is an interesting = & pleasant Group. On the bugs in the intake & windshield, in 1977 I was on = a training flight with my instructor (ex Israeli fighter pilot) wanted to s= how me a group of seals on a nearby beach. On our way down we hit a flock of Mallard ducks, ingested one in the left bank of the family Grumman Tiger,= a second knocked of the OAT pick-up from the center of the windshield and a= n other hit the left wing root.
