This was assembled back in 2001 and did not think = to check the apex grove, however, I do think I detected a bit of a "V" = shape to at least one. I am going to go back out and measure it to see = whether it was my imagination or real. Thanks for the suggestion of the Rx-8 Rotors they are quite a bit = cheaper than the 9.7:1 for the NA 91. However, Mazdatrix has not found = anyone to mill them for the Rx-7 Apex seal, yet. They told me to check = back in a couple of weeks. Photo Apex Slot Peened shows that the 2nd apex seal of #1 rotor that = would not move up and down - clear why, now. The departing piece peened = over the slot and froze the seal in its slot. I had to pry the opposite = end of the seal up to the position you see.
