In California the dust on the dirt strips can linger in the air long=20= after a take off and when the farmers work the fields near by, the air=20= is full of highly abrasive dust. One of the first things we noticed=20 about Indiana when we moved from CA was how much less dust was in the=20 air. I don't know if the Rotary is more tolerant of this stuff than=20= is a recip but it probably is harmful to some degree. Even in Indiana=20= I think a filter is a good idea.
