Hi, John....no, I had not yet seen that one.  I use the long, skinny baloons like the clowns use to make animals with. Wrap it in cloth, slop on the 30 minute epoxy, then pop the baloon.  It was easier to glass the baloon elephant than the baloon octopus, however.  Paul Conner  (yes I am kidding).

Did you see Richard Sohn's trick for making a fiberglass tube at Shady Bend? Basically you overfill a section of an inner tube with sand. Once filled you can bend and shape it. Glass it. Remove the sand. Peel out the inner tube. Bingo. A perfectly smooth fiberglass duct of the correct dimensions and shape. Might take a bit of practice for the "fiberglass challenged" amongst us (mentioning no names) but it works very well once you get the hang of it.
