Finn,
You guys really know how to take the wind out of my sails :-)
I am only reporting what I saw on ONE run (Its all I could stand,
noise-wise). At any rate, I know it let the engine wind up more, and my
indicated increased by over 20 mph. (17.3795 knots for you knot guys)
Another note. I was definitely temperature limited at that
OAT. The only way to get the speed is with the cowl flap closed, and after
a couple of minutes at that speed, the temp limits were hit on my engine
monitor. Opening the cowl flap increases drag and costs me 10-15 mph. I
also have a self-imposed max speed of 170 with the cowl flap open, after
an incident early on in the testing where it tore itself off the hinges in
a run at Vne. Supporting structure has since been beefed up, but still I
stick to the limit.

Wow, there's some magic at work here! Maybe a 10 mph tailwind :)
Seriously, a linear extrapolation would put the speed at 196 mph not 206
mph with an RPM increase from 5350 (180 mph) to 5820. Or put another way,
would expect at least 6100 RPM for 206 mph.
