(PS- I asked  about a quanity discount.....They said their = markup=20 was not
enough to allow it)

--------------=20 Original message from keltro@att.net (Kelly Troyer): -------------- =
OK Guys, If there is anyone still planning on using old = fashioned=20 "V" belts
anda mechanical waterpump listen up.......After detailed = analysis (with=20 a ruler
and calipers) I have found out that the "Star Racing" large = diameter=20 water
pump pulley is 5 inches in diameter and is designed to be used = with=20 the
reduced diameter "Racing Beat" excentric shaft pulley used by = most=20 of
us with 13B rotary (86-91) vintage.......The "Star" pulley is = the=20 largest that
can be used with the "Racing Beat" pulley and probably should = be=20 considered
a must have item for those using the RD1C, 2.85 redrive and = planning=20 on
extended running at or above 6500 rpm.......IMHO......The use = of this=20 pulley will
keep the pump well away from its cavitation rpm and reduce = the=20 power needed
to pull it at high rpm.......The "Star" pulley has a 17mm = (.669in)=20 pilot which
fits the 86-88 13B waterpump.......If you have a 89-91 13B , = 13B or 20B=20 Cosmo
pump its pilot is 19mm (.748in) which can be bored out=20 easily......Before
everyone runs out and buys one of these let me order one and = verify=20 all
I have guessed about here........FWIW
