-so after all the "broken belt taking out the others" alternator/water pump conversations, a multiple belts catastrophe doesn't appear to be a concern with this helicopter? hmmm....

This was a concern to me, but was more concerned that I did not have sufficient wrap angle on the initial setup with the N-D alternator mounted on top. After checking with several auto mechanics, the consenus was that they very seldom saw a single belt failure get the other belt. I had a double pulley on the drive and the waterpump. Was able to jump a belt over these two without an idler. Hope that it does not have too much tension and kill the bearing in the pump!
