After checking with several auto mechanics, the consenus was that they very seldom saw a single belt failure get the other belt. I had a double pulley on the drive and the waterpump. Was able to jump a belt over these two without an idler. Hope that it does not have too much tension and kill the bearing in the pump! Bernie
