One interesting point is Paul Lamar is developing 2" P-ports to prove his theory - so we will see what we will see. 
 
If any of us live long enough to see :-)  
 
Do you think he intends to "prove" his theory on paper, or might we actually see a real engine running?  Maybe he can get together with Moller.  What a show that would be.  
 
As for PP vs side ports.  I'd certainly wager that your buddy Leon is capable of building a side port engine that will drub the average homemade PP in every way, up to 6500 rpm.  Any takers :-)
