The best way that I know of to remove the oil is a de-greaser called SlapShot from Walter. 
 
Somehow, I doubt I'm going to find a product called SlapShot in Florida :-)  Actually, I did search for it in internet, and came up pretty much empty.  
   
A good substitute is brake clean which is available at any auto parts store for a couple of bucks a can.  
 
I've used this before, but would worry that it might be a bit harsh for fiberglass.  I'll set it and see.  I've also had pretty good success with Castrol Super Clean, and other less toxic degreasers.  I'll clean it up the best I can, then sand (Oh, joy) off the top layer, then probably clean again.  I'm sure I can get something to stick.
